Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 Wifi Problem

Like I mentioned, the laptop is new, I received information technology only a few weeks ago on Christmas. All the same, whenever I endeavour to play any online games, the ping will go from effectually 20-40 for at most a minute, to 300-400 for a few seconds earlier going back down to the 20-forty ping, simply to repeat the wheel until I go out the game. The problem has to be the laptop, considering I have been to three dissimilar places with pretty good wireless connections, all iii ranging effectually the 20-forty ping range. The people that I was playing with at 1 of the locations that were also connected to the same WiFi weren't experiencing the lag spikes. I take tried to turn off antivirus, equally the Geek Squad recommended when I took my laptop to Best Buy, only that didn't piece of work. Is there anything that I can alter on my laptop to ready these issues? Would buying ane of those USB wireless adapter things possibly work?
I practice not take admission to an Ethernet cablevision.

have y'all checked windows update? its a common occurrence (at least to me, and those around me) for a newly bought laptop to accept spike of ping coz of windows update, event last nighttime my PC experienced spike of ping considering windows update is downloading something.

I have checked for updates, and did update them considering in that location were updates, merely the problems continued.
And Lenovo Support told me to accept my laptop in to Best Buy, so that's keen. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
